Prepare for Transitions

“Coach” prepares Me for a transition, by informing him ahead of time verbally and directing visually to the visual time clock. As a result, Me is able to transition easily.

This Strategy can help with the following Challenges:

While viewing a “Strategy”, consider the following questions:

  1. What adaptations/accommodations (changes) have been made for Me?
  2. What benefits (rewards) are evident, or can be anticipated (expected) for Me?
  3. What are Me’s strengths?
  4. Can this strategy be applied in a different setting (home, school, community, or workplace)?
